| Popis | In the first chapter, there is a risk characteristic as the basis for insurance, classification of risks from different perspectives, as well as risk management. In the second chapter, there is insurance explained as an economic category and insurance as a legal relationship. The insurance classification from selected aspects is also a part of this chapter as well as reinsurance. The third chapter describes insurance as non-productive sector of the market economy, its structure and transformation. The subjects of this structure are explained separately. The fourth chapter is about legislation and regulation of insurance in the Slovak Republic and Czech Republic. The fifth chapter defines the relationship between finance, financial market and insurance market. It shows the basic methodological assumptions and breakdown of insurance market, indicators of its standard and regulation of the insurance market. The sixth chapter contains a segmentation of the insurance market and characterizes the insurance market in Slovakia and in the Czech Republic by main indicators of the insurance market. The chapter No. 7 deals with the insurance markets in Europe and the EU insurance market, the pillars of the European market and phases of its harmonization. This chapter also contains a comparison of the Slovak, Czech and European insurance market by selected indicators of their standards. |
