Popis | In the present study, monogenean parasites of six populations of L. gibbosus were sampled throughout Europe. Altogether nine monogenean species were recorded. Gyrodactylus vimbi and G. laevis/prostae, both generalist parasites, represent new records for L. gibbosus. Seven species (Onchocleidus similis, O. dispar, O. acer, Actinocleidus recurvatus, A. oculatus, Cleidodiscus robustus and Gyrodactylus macrochiri) belong to imported monogenean species. The highest species richness (eight monogenean species) was observed in the pumpkinseed populations of Mediterranean Sea-drainage area. Four monogenean species were found in the populations of Black Sea-drainage area and no monogeneas were seen in fish population from North Sea-drainage area. O. similis was the most widely distributed parasite. High metrical (O. similis) and morphological (A. recurvatus) variability of attachment parts of parasite haptor was observed. Variations in measurements of parasite opisthaptor hard parts between native and introduced fish populations were analysed. |
