| Popis | Star-shaped molecules have gained much attention in last two decades for their applications ranging from supramolecular chemistry to the chemistry of new materials involving i.e. electro-optical, liquid-crystal compounds or polymers with enhanced mechanical properties. Among them, the molecules containing rigid arms are of particular interest. Here, we describe our synthetic approach to the star-shaped molecules with bicyclo[1.1.1]pentan based arms terminated with utilizable carboxyl or alkyne groups. |
