• Popis: The aim of this presentation is to explore the natural factors that may have driven the emergence and development of early medieval hillfort agglomeration in the Považský Inovec region, along with its economic hinterland. The author analyses paleoecological and geographical data, radiocarbon data, and compares them with outcomes of nearly two decades of archaeological research on the Bojná agglomeration.
