| Popis | The purpose of this paper was to present changes in the use of ornaments and motif of light in Kazakh culture since prehistoric rock art to the present time. The paper has shown that there is a difference between contemporary public and private use of ornaments. In the public use, there is a dominance of horns, while in the private use, the motif of light are used in personal names and other types ornaments are used for their protective and animistic/magical and ritual conections. |
