Popis | The paper aims to the explanation of the literary stereotype of Etruscan hedonism and moral corruption. Although archaeological sources are an important and, above all, more reliable source of information written sources and fragments of ancient authors complete the contemporary context and therefore should not be underestimated. Comparison of ancient written sources with archaeological data proves that the ancient authors were biased. Sometimes without a critical approach to sources, this could cause a misunderstanding of some elements of Etruscan society. |
