Popis | The development of a suitable procedure for microliter volumes injection of nanoparticles onto a chromatographic paper and polystyrene plate is presented. The detection of silver (10 nm diameter) and gold (5 nm diameter) nanoparticles using LIBS in 2D mapping mode was optimized in order to achieve the best spatial resolution and the lowest detection limits. Reached detection limits after injection solution onto polystyrene plate for silver and gold nanoparticles were found 0.01 and 0.3 ng per µl respectively. The dependence of the LIBS signal intensity on the volume and concentration of the injected nanoparticles was investigated in detail. Increasing of the injected volume caused the enlargement area where nanoparticles were distributed. This effect was observed especially after injection onto chromatographic paper while the dependence of the LIBS signal intensity on the nanoparticle concentration was linear in wide range. |
