Finance education for AI revolution and ESG responsibility

The establishment of new global financial services providers alongside with growing competition and complexity of financial services and instruments call for a substantial change in education of financial professionals. Requirements on financial professionals change at an extraordinary pace unlike any other modern profession. In addition to general financial knowledge and soft skills, finance specialists must have exceptional analytical skills backed up by artificial intelligence tools. Master’s program in Finance at Masaryk University has already implemented several specialized courses in the curriculum, such as Ai in Finance and ICT in Accounting. Nevertheless, further improvements are necessary to retain the exceptionality of the Finance program at local and Central European level and foreshadow the changes.
