In this lecture, Saman Amir from CirBES AB will talk about circular supply chains and how enhanced decision-making can address some of the operational transformation challenges in the circular economy.
The lecture will be held within the subject MPH_LSCM Logistika a Supply Chain Management and is an activity of the www.recipss.eu project.
Speaker background:
Saman Amir is the co-founder and CEO of CirBES AB and PhD candidate at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). Her background is rooted in urban planning and sustainability from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and specializing in management from Karolinska Institute (KI). She is now working and researching the topic of the circular economy.
Exploiting the principles of the circular economy such as eliminate (waste and pollution), circulate (resources at highest value) and regenerate (the nature), her research aims to contribute to developing industrial systems that are inherently circular (closed-loop by design).
