Description | Cytokines are injury-induced inflammatory mediators that contribute to both induction and maintenance of neuropathic pain. We used in situ hybridization and quanitative RT-PCR to provide evidence that unilateral chronic constriction injury (CCI) of the sciatic nerve induces synthesis of TNFa and IL-6 in DRG of different spinal cord segments alongside neuroaxis. |
