Description | The Model-free procedure to analyze NMR relaxation rates in terms of intramolecular motions was modified to explicitly take into account asymmetric character of the carbon chemical shielding tensors. The effect of using the improved procedure was studied on a 14-nt RNA hairpin including UUCG tetraloop. Spin-spin and spin-lattice relaxation rates were measured for all protonated base and C1’ carbons at 600 MHz and 500 MHz and the values of carbon-hydrogen heteronuclear NOE were obtained for purine C8 and adenine C2 carbons. The results of the Model free analysis using the extended version of the Relax program was compared to the result produced by the standard version of the program as well as to the published data. |
