Description | NMR relaxation experiments provide a way of monitoring molecular dynamics with atomic resolution. However, the measurement of 13C relaxation rates and their interpretation faces serious challenges. We have modified the Model-Free procedure to explicitly take into account asymmetric character of the carbon chemical shielding tensors and the effect of neighboring nuclei. The extended version of the Model-Free analysis generally produces more realistic values of the order parameter. |
