Description | In this paper we show how the second order linear differential equations serve as generators for certain higher order equations. These special equations enable us to derive the global criterion for higher order equations which is effective in general regardless the noneffectivenes of the global criterion for the second order equations. However, a selection of a unique global canonical form for linear differential equations is still an open problem. It depends on an answer to a certain question from the theory of functions. |
