Description The article is surveying the use of marketing tools in small and medium enterprises in the Czech republic. The research was carried out on a sample of 49 companies in the year 2004 by means of a standardized written questionnaire. The aim of the article is to analyse marketing tools, to draw conclusions from this analysis, and to indicate recommendations in the field of marketing which would lead to the improvement of the situation of companies on the market.
