Description Libraries are now increasingly seen as an institution actively learning, which increases the demands on the level of pedagogical skills trainers. The paper presents an example of the methodology of information education in university libraries, reflecting the transition model of information literacy, which together with the methodology established in the Center of Information Education at Masaryk University in Brno. The methodology emphasizes pedagogical paradigm as a useful lessons in information education didactic constructivism and other elements and activating teaching approaches that support student centered learning. The paper also presents a methodology for the application of information education tool - Card lesson.
