Description The book offers basic information about education of persons with disabilities or disadvantage. The main goal of the book is to offer future secondary school teachers an overview of special educational needs and strategies used in education which help pupils with SEN in mastering required knowledge and abilities. The book is divided into chapters focusing on pupils with SEN and their teachers; the role of assessment in professional orientation of pupils with health disabilities; influence of physical, visual, hearing impairment or impaired communication ability on education; approaches to pupils with specific learning disorders and adults with dyslexia and their professional life; pupils with behaviour difficulties or at risk of behaviour difficulties.
