How will the tuition continue?

• the tuition will continue in contactless form until the end of the semester, that means until May 16
• students should receive complete information about the mode of tuition and its exams by April 20 at the latest - see the interactive syllabus of each course
• a significant part of education has already moved to the online environment (mostly MS Teams).

• personal consultations are unfortunately not possible; however, it is possible to ask the teacher for consultation via MS Teams, Skype, etc., more information here
• self-study - remember that the faculty has managed to acquire many new electronic resources that can help you in your studies
• library
  • the library will be closed until the end of the semester, but you can use the option of scanning books on demand
  • the deadline for returning books is automatically extended according to the current situation.

The teacher does not respond to your queries? You have not received any information so far? Then you should:

1. contact the teacher yourself
2. contact the guarantor of the course
3. contact the International Office
4. contact the Senators of the Academic Senate – skas@econ.muni.cz

• the exam period will run from May 18 to September 30, 2020
• exam dates will be announced throughout the entire period (May, June, July, August and September)
• material content of the exam will be determined by April 19, 2020 (incl.) – see interactive syllabus
• the form of the examination and the organizational instructions are set by the course guarantors for the individual examination dates - the exam can take both personal and distance form (distance form is guaranteed for all subjects)
• even students who have been abroad during the semester Autumn 2019 will be allowed to pass the exams until September 30, 2020

What about the dates of the final state exams?

• the final state examination will take place on the dates specified in the Academic Calendar in June and September 2020
• in the period from April 9 to April 20, students can sign up for the exam held in June or September, it is up to each student to choose
• the form and organization of the FSE should be communicated to the students at least 15 days before the date of the examination
• if you need to hide part of your final thesis, proceed accordingly to the information of the respective departments, if you have problems, contact the International Office

What about the deadlines for submitting diploma theses?

• diploma theses in the Spring 2020 semester are only submitted in electronic form in the relevant IS MU section - they will not be submitted in printed form
• all other requirements for the submission of final theses into the archive and their publication will be carried out based on the existing valid rules without changes
• deadlines for submission of the final thesis are set by the Academic Calendar
