Dear students,
As you have already been informed, on the basis of the deteriorating epidemic situation, Masaryk University is moving to the yellow color of the traffic light system. The measures will be in effect from Monday, November 22. Let me summarize the basic rules we will follow at the Faculty of Economics and Administration from the next week (however, due to the dynamically evolving situation, please always make sure to check the website stated below for the latest measures).
LECTURES – The courses are taught in full-time mode. Lectures with attendance of more than 150 people are conducted in distance or hybrid mode.
EXAMINATIONS can be conducted in both face-to-face and online mode, as decided by the course guarantors. The face-to-face form of examination (including other forms of course completion) is possible with a minimum spacing of 1.5 metres and respiratory protection according to the general conditions of MU.
The FACULTY BUILDING remains open to students and employees of FEA MU, with limited access for the public. While entering, you might be controlled by O-P-T measure, the back faculty entrance will remain closed. Students at the faculty are required to wear respiratory protective equipment (mouth and nose) in the faculty building per current government regulations. It is necessary to wear these in all areas of the building, including classes. There are no changes from the current situation.
The LIBRARY is open, but operates on a limited basis. Up-to-date information on its operation is available on the CSI website econ.muni.cz/en/library.
You will continue to be informed about current events via our website www.econ.muni.cz/en/koronavirus, social networks and newsletters. Requirements for entering the building and attending full-time classes are set by Dean's measure No. 3. If you have any inquiries, feel free to contact our International Office.
Please respect all arrangements, which are implemented with the desire to keep the possibility of full-time teaching as long as possible and to avoid the necessity to switch into the red colour of the university traffic lights system.
I, therefore, ask you to be considerate and responsible. At the same time, I would like to urge those of you who are not prevented from doing so by health reasons to get vaccinated if you have not already done so.
With the best wishes for good health
Jiří Špalek
Dean
