Description The hydrological regime of waterways relates not only to the natural conditions of river basins, but primarily with farming methods and practices in a given environment. More or less consciously we are also influencing river networks through the modification of various components of the environment. In addition to research concerning runoff processes and their causes, current water management issue should focus mainly on discussing possible alternative approaches to river ecosystems and searching for a suitable and sustainable way to manage bodies of water.
