Description | We present the Media Streams Planning Problem (MSPP) for planning of multimedia streaming routes in high-end virtual collaborative tools. These tools frequently transmit streams with bandwidth close to capacities of current backbone network links. Going from the original constraint-programming solver, we proposed a binary integer programming solver to improve the performance. We have analyzed performance of several cycle-avoidance methods and proposed usage of network flows formulation, which have shown the best performance of all. |
