Description A piece of burnt clay was found in the assemblage coming from the Paleolithic site Bohunice-Kejbaly located in South Moravia. The fragment is supposed to be associated with the Early Upper Paleolithic occupancy of the site, particularly with the Bohunician culture. This fact led us to undertake a series of analyses that shed a light on the character of this extraordinary specimen.
