Description We focus on difficulty rating of Sokoban and Sudoku puzzles. Experimental data show that there can be differences in problem difficulty up to 10 times even for very similar puzzle instances. Why do such differences occur? How can we predict problem difficulty? In this paper we provide two computational models of human behaviour and apply these models for difficulty rating.
