Description The time evolution of body measures (body length or body weight) can be regarded as a phenomenological expression of the genetic determination. That is, a time dependent body size can be expressed as deterministic function subjected to stochastic variations. The deterministic part of the process can be modeled mathematically, the assumption on the stochastic part allows to identify parameters of the model.
