Keywords lectin Aspergillus fumigatus
Description This study deals with structural and functional characterization of 34.6 kDa lectin AFL1 from ascomycete Aspergillus fumigatus. AFL1 was expressed in a recombinant form and purified by FPLC on mannose-agarose column. Binding properties of AFL1 were determined by SPR and ITC. Several promising crystals for X-ray diffraction have been obtained using hanging drop vapour diffusion technique combined with streak seeding technique.
