| Description | The social system secures the citizens with precautionary measures (e.g. social and health insurance) as well as with instruments used ex-post, so that it gives solution to situations who have already taken place (e.g. childbirth ). These are the instruments that are implemented into the system in which can participate each citizen, eventually each family who satisfy the legislative criteria. The social security system includes also a system of social aid with a built-in forms which can immediately react on unusual social events, that can occur due to unexpected accidental phenomenons (e.g. fire, floods, employer bankruptcy). There are built-in mechanism, which enable the municipalities to offer financial or material feasance in certain situations (when the socio-economic status of citizens is temporarily endangered) in order to facilitate the return to social suverenity. This is a manifestation of protecting function of the state. |
