| Description | The main aim of the new act was the need to change the system social services in the Czech Republic, which has been operating since end of 80s in the past century and it is not adequate to contemporary European requirements of public service. The basic aim of the new law is particularly to secure help for people, who are in unfavourable social situation and to support them a wide scale of social services, also to set up rules to provide and introduce of a care contribution. This contributions are given to people, who in case of long unfavourable health condition period need other persons help. New law incorporate trends of social services in European countries, mainly based on factors like prolonging of human life, securing of productive life standard in the time period of increasing dependence of other persons help and rising costs of compensation of dependence on external help. |
