| Description | We introduce the concept of the origin of autism where the genetic predispositions lead to the generation of metabolic errors. Metabolic errors interact with the environment (alimentation etc.) and could cause the brain damage which is the cause of perceptional, cognitive and metacognitive defects. Considering the similarity relation between the manifestation of autism and sensory and psychological deprivation we suggest that the people with autism feel a subjective psychological and sensory deprivation as a result of perceptional disturbance and the lack of understanding of others'expressions. We suggest that this subjective sensory deprivation and psychological deprivation leads to deficits in social relations in autism. |
