Description Experimental investigation on the Ni-Al-W system at 900, 1000 and 1100C with the aim to obtain a reassessment of this system and its consequent utilization for new thermodynamic description of the Ni-Al-Cr-W higher order one was realized. The data were used for optimization of thermodynamic parameters using module PARROT in software package ThermoCalc. As the source database of thermodynamic data, commercial database for Ni-based alloys was applied. In order to get better agreement of experimental and calculated results we focused our attention on thermodynamic parameters describing some intermetallic phases in Ni-W binary subsystem.
