• Description: This paper reviews some most important findings in the area of pheromonal communication in subhuman mammals and in humans. Pheromonal communication in humans seems to be well documented. Menstrual synchrony in humans, however – if it is not a case of a methodological artefact – appears in strictly limited conditions only.
