Description In the offered text the authors focus on factors which can influence process of formation and development of relationships in the Internet environment as well as their transfer outside the Internet environment. The authors considered factors like motivation to meet someone on the Internet, meeting place on the Internet, form and content of communication, face-to-face meeting, presence of components of love (commitment, intimacy, passion) in online phase of relationship. Since the fact whether the couple met through a love-match server is considered as important, the authors summarize the discussed variables into theoretical models of formation, development and transformation of relationships originated on match servers and chat servers.
