Description BM2 monoblasts overexpressing Bcl-2 exhibit low viability, condensed chromatin, nuclear fragmentation and DNA fragmentation. Our results suggest that the Bcl-2 protein undergoing post-translational modification by phosphorylation cannot interact with its protein partners thus loosing its capability to suppress apoptosis.
