| Description | The paper analyses demographic aspects of pension system in CR. The main thesis of the article is that demographic ageing of Czech society is overemphasized on its consequences in the economy of pension system. The idea is documented on sample of historic and international comparisons. In my view demographic ageing is not primary cause for the deficits on the account of pension insurance. The recommended solution for imbalances in the system is proposed more dynamic upward shifting of retirement age. |
