Description	The article attend to the definition of autistic spectrum disorders. It presents main diagnostic criteria for autistic disorders and it summarizes the core theoretical presumptions explaining the symptoms of pervasive developmental disorders. The author offers an overview of the present state of research and progression of new diagnostical instruments used just for the diagnostic of autistic spectrum disorders.
