| Description | The article deals with a class analysis in contemporary capitalist societies. In the first part the neo-Marxist version of class analysis and Erik Olin Wrights class schema is introduced. The second part treats the neo-Weberian version of class analysis and introduces John Goldthorpes class schema. The last part of the article deals with the comparison of these two versions of class analysis and answers the question, which version of class schema is more appropriated as a reflection of contemporary class structure in capitalist societies. |
