Description Several studies suggest that abnormalities in nitric oxide (NO) synthesis may contribute to the development of pulmonary diseases. We have, therefore, performed a case-control study to investigate a plausible association between two promoter polymorphisms in the NOS3 gene and respiratory allergic diseases.
