| Description | ABSTRACT: The article aims to answer the question: "Is it possible to use the concept of living situation in research of (Romany) integration ?" The article deals with the concept of living situation which is seen as a central term of social work and the author is looking for its common basis with the term integration. In the article author concentrates then on idea of social functioning, i.e. dynamic part of living situation. In the text author provides re-conceptualization of social functioning and stresses signification of reciprocal social expectations (ecological concepts). The paper brings consideration about the concept of living situation in the context of social work themes (live cycle, group diversity), presents the concept of living situation as an integral part of ecosystems model and provides research implications. |
