Description Enlarging the European Union is one of the most important challenges for Czech companies, especially SMEs. Among Czech companies, increasing interest for the European Union is apparent from previous years. Furthermore, with the accession coming closer, they are more aware of the complexity of the Acquis and tend to be more critical about their own state of readiness. The article shows some aspects of Czech companies' readiness for the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union. This is also base for further research as a part of the author's dissertation work.
