Description DNA adsorption at the hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) and mercury film electrodes (MFE) surfaces was studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The frequency response of the tensammetric signals of nucleic acids depends on the supporting material of the mercury film electrode. Impedance spectroscopy is convenient for the detection of complexes of cancerostatic drugs with DNA molecule.
