Description XRD internal standard method was applied to quantitative phase analysis of fly ash composites. Various calibration mixtures with fluorite as internal standard combined with corundum, glass, ZnO and quartz as diluents were tested and yielded statistically significant results. The method used was tested for accuracy on twelve Artificial control mixtures, the compositions of which were close to real fly ash composites. The absolute error in all cases was less than 10 %.
