| Description | The study is concerned with Great Moravian ceramics from Pohansko near Břeclav. It is divided into three parts. The first one concerns methodological aspects of analysis of early medieval pottery from settlement sites while the second part focuses on evaluation of finds from Pohansko itself. The final chapters bring a comparison of information about the early medieval ceramics from Pohansko with information and models relating to comparable find assemblages both from the Czech republic and the neighbouring countries, eventually with observation made by etnoarchaeology or experimental archaeology. |
