Description The Konstantin quarry is located in NW part of the Velké Vrbno Group. The graphite seam "Platejs" is dislocated by a fault filled by aggregates of light grey tremolite (type I). Tremolite is usually present as microscopic intergrowths with calcite and dolomite. The described tremolite (type I.)crystallized later than dark grey tremolite (type II.) in so called dolomite marbles with tremolite. Lenses of clear dolomitic marbles with tremolite accumulations morphologically resemble tremolitized fossils.
