Description | Technology, like aging, is something that accompanies and surrounds us every day. Whether we see it or not. In this debate, we'll consider what other parallels, bridges and chasms society is building between ageing and technology, and try to get to the bottom of where the blind spots of excitement about technological advances are, how it all relates to human rights and the coffee mug. We won't talk about whether it's smart to buy bitcoins or how AI works, but we'll try to remember that the founders of cutting-edge technology are depicted in black-and-white photographs, and what that might mean for the future of ageing societies. |
