Description Various intermittent fasting (IF) protocols are widely used as an effective weight loss tool. However, the results on body composition are still unclear. The aim of the study was to assess the effect of IF on the amount of muscle mass, which is a very important functional component of the human body, and its loss is always undesirable from many aspects during the weight reduction process.
