Description | Long-term use of 0,06% CHX toothpaste did not lead to an increase in predicted antimicrobial resistace genes in oral bacteria. Further in vivo studies are needed. Until more information is available, caution should be taken and chlorhexidine should not be used unless the periodontal condition requires it. |
