Citation
Description Mediation is a language activity that is particularly present in the world of work, as it helps to bridge the communication gap. In the field of law, it can also contribute to a better understanding of the local legal culture and its specificities and to cultural transfer (interlanguage mediation), but also facilitate communication between the expert and the non-professional, when the lawyer has to explain a complex legal concept in clear and understandable language (intralanguage mediation). In our contribution, we propose to examine the question of how to work with legal language in the FOS classroom, using the available reference framework, in particular the CEFR Supplementary Volume (2020 French version).
