| Description | This paper focuses on foreign language learning of deaf and hard of hearing learners, which is a topic we have been dealing with for a long time at the Support Centre for Students with Special Needs at Masaryk University. In the last few years, several international projects have been implemented, which have enabled the development of teaching materials and support for research activities, as well as the organization of summer schools, which allow young deaf and hard-of-hearing students from different European countries to meet and develop their linguistic, as well as social and intercultural skills. The aim of this paper is to present some of these activities and in particular to introduce the publication called Deafinitely English. |
