Citation
Description People suffering from epidermolysis bullosa have fragile and vulnerable skin and mucous membranes; blisters often form on it. The disease is genetically determined and incurable. Doctors only relieve the symptoms. In addition to nutrition, it is also important to use special bandages, which help to suck pus from wounds and reduce pain. The developed cell therapy medicinal product consists of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC). These cells in the human body help to repair damaged tissues and regulate the exaggerated functions of the immune system. According to current research, MSCs have healing potential in acute and chronic wounds of various origins.
