Description Data management plans (DMP) are becoming an integral part in various project proposals. The goal of the workshop is to introduce data management planning, long-term preservation, benefits of data sharing etc. DMP enables effective ways to manage the research data before, during and after the project ends. DMP is a live document summarizing how research data is handled during the project. How is the data published, what open licence is suitable. Explicit formulation of these topics helps to move towards FAIR data management, enable findability, reusability, interoperability and accessibility of data. This leads to long-term sustainability of research and transparency.
