| Description | Digitalia MUNI ARTS is a local node of the LINDAT/CLARIAH-CZ infrastructure that collects, stores and makes available the digital platforms of scientists from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University. The digital platforms are stored in the Islandora system and their metadata is transmitted via the OAI-PMH protocol to the central repository of LINDAT/CLARIAH-CZ, thus ensuring their findability and accessibility within the wider ecology of European infrastructures. The Digitalia MUNI ARTS infrastructure is designated for the entire academic community of FF MU with support especially focused on scientists oriented to digital research in the humanities. In addition to the possibilities of the technical system of Islandora, the infrastructure project examines research data practices and requirements for virtual research environments, with the help of the Matomo tool we plan to further investigate types of interactions with data and modelling user needs. Digital curation processes take place over data from transferred research projects ensuring long-term preservation and authenticity of data, which is important not only for digitalization of historical sources. |
