| Description | The book consists of ten chapters, which represent various aspects of reality experienced in the Amazon. The authors collaborate with organizations involved in the UNIDA consortium (United for the Development of the Amazon), located in Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Colombia. From the perspective of their field, all authors work on some of the topics related to the Amazon region. The book, therefore, contains chapters prepared by experts from many different areas of research, such as biology, philology, ecology, anthropology, psychology, ethnobotany, etc. The purpose is to offer a comprehensive picture of the Amazon. Thanks to a wide range of approaches, it is possible to offer a holistic vision of changing reality. |
